Big Picture Film Fest premieres a dozen new films produced by youth ages 12-24 through Big Picture Alliance programs across Philadelphia. This annual event is created by and for Philly youth as a platform to uplift marginalized voices and build community – including screenings, workshops, musical guests, and panel discussions with youth, civic leaders and industry professionals. This year’s films explore the theme “Bloom Where You’re Planted” – including the premiere of an environmental justice docuseries produced in partnership with the Philadelphia Orchard Project.
